Also located in S. Benedict, the Holy Cross church was rebuilt on the site of the original fourteenth-century church (collapsed in 1757 with the note landslide), and is accessed via a small external stone staircase.
It presents a gabled façade in mixed stone covered with plaster.
The interior has a single nave, covered with stucco ceilings and decorated in pastel
Prominent feature inside the church is the large tympanum soretto by pilasters, with inscription in the frieze in gold letters NOT IRON SED LIGNO DOMUIT, at the conclusion of the presbytery.
Inside the church are located:
- the statue of St. Rocco and St. Paul Bishop (Li Volsi)
- the statue of the Sacred Heart of Jesus
- the statue of the Madonna della Catena
- on the high altar, a painting by an unknown artist shows Christ embracing the cross surrounded by the four evangelists.
